Top: Kohls, Jeans: Kohls, Necklace: Borrowed (bought at Maurices), Shoes: Amazon, Sunnies: Old Navy.

.

.This top and necklace combo remind me of that darling poem from Disney’s The Rescuers

Faith is a bluebird you see from afar

It’s for real and as sure as the first evening star

You can’t touch it or buy it

Or wrap it up tight

But, it’s there just the same

Making things turn out right

Which in turn makes me think of Emily Dickinson

“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all –
And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard –
And sore must be the storm –
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm –

I’ve heard it in the chillest land –
And on the strangest Sea –
Yet – never – in Extremity,
It asked a crumb – of me.

I love it when poetry says things better than I ever could in a million years.

Oh, yeah! I wish we’d taken a picture of it! I’ll try to remember for next time!
